Race Registration is Now Open!

Register your four-legged racer for our First Annual Doxie Derby. We’re kicking off the ultimate day of racing with Dachshund Races from 12:30PM – 5:30PM. Registration is just $25 per pup and include a special gift from Nerf Dog Toys, but spots are filling fast—secure your athlete’s place at the starting gate today!

Race Categories:

Puppy: For our youngest sprinters (0-12 month Dachshunds).
Adult: The prime-time speedsters (2–7 year Dachshunds).
Seniors: For the distinguished racers (8+ year Dachshunds).
Weenie Wannabes: All small breeds and Dachshund-mixes under 30 lbs!

What to Know (Doxie Derby Racing)

The Track: For the safety of all our racers and spectators, our Doxie Derby track will be fenced in, and all spectators must remain outside the track perimeter. The track will include an enclosed starting gate and no more than 6 pups will be racing at a time.

Racer Staging: All racers must meet at the designated staging area at their assigned staging time. Staging times will be assigned at check-in on race day. 

Vaccinations: For the safety of all participants, proof of current Rabies and DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvo) vaccinations is required for all racing pups at check-in on the day of the event.

Two-Human Requirement: All racers must have two handlers. One person will stay at the start for the release, and one person will wait at the finish to catch. Don’t forget to bring a “lure” (toy or treat) to encourage your athlete to the finish line!

Pet Safety: All dogs must be on a leash at all times, except when it’s their turn to sprint! No retractable leashes, standard 4-6ft leashes only to help us keep the crowds moving safely.
